In Latin the word " Questio" was inserted at a end of the sentences to point questions. it had been shortened to 'qo. Later, the letter 'o' was placed below the letter 'q' . then , the letter q attains hook shape and therefore the letter o becomes dot. This finally ended up in ? 

2. Exclamation point !

This symbol probably comes from the Latin word " Exclamatio" placed at the top of the sentences to precise joy. it had been abbreviated into I and O not top of every other. This eventually became the symbol ! Used today.

3. Heart symbol

The shape of real human heart is little more common with this symbol . However there are several theories about the symbol origins. 

When courting swans appears at the center of the lake,their shape merges into the form almost like the guts symbol. In many of the planet culture, swan birds represents love, loyalty and devotion because swan pairs stick together for all times .

An hypothesis also says that originally heart symbol represented the female form. Supporters of this theory argue that the symbol represents the form of the feminine pelvis.

The power symbol are often found on practically any device. As in early 1940's the engineers used binary numeration system for representing specific switches where 1 meant for ON and 0 for OFF. this is often eventually transformed to the symbol that we use today.

5. Infinity symbol

It was first employed by John Wallis in 1655. Though nobody knows what inspired its design. Some says that it had been derived from the Greek letter omega and other says that it had been derived from the Roman numeral 1000.
